How templates work
Use placeholders in the template: {title}, {artist}, {album}, {year}, {track}, {disc}, {ext}. For example, "{artist} - {title}" produces "Artist Name - Song Title.mp3".
Track number padding
Enable zero-padding to format track numbers as 01, 02, … instead of 1, 2, …. This keeps files sorted correctly in most file explorers.
Downloading renamed files

Does this tool rename files on my disk?
No. Renaming files on disk is not possible in a web browser. This tool lets you download each file with its new name. The original files on your disk are not modified.
What if a tag field is empty?
If a placeholder has no matching tag value, it is replaced with "Unknown" — for example, "Unknown Artist".
Is there a file limit?
There is no hard limit, but very large files may slow down metadata reading. For batch renaming of hundreds of files, a desktop tool like Mp3tag may be more efficient.
